Plant a Coffee Tree in Guatemala

With your $5 donation, Kishé will plant a new coffee tree at one of our many cooperatives around the Western Highland Region in Guatemala.

Coffee trees usually take about 3-5 years before they produce abundant coffee cherries.  So replanting a tree is a 3-5 Year commitment to the future with ZERO INCOME for those first years.  Your Donation helps to cover that loss of production while the new tree matures.  Though coffee trees live for seventy-five or more years, with harvests occurring year after year from mature trees, at around thirty years, the trees start to decline in the production of coffee cherries and must be replaced. Your coffee tree will support small-scale farmers as well as all of the family members who work along-side to help bring their crops to harvest.      That's why we say... Community in a CUP!
